Fannugedharin, Hulhangu 2019 experience kicked off on 22nd June 2019 with over 200 artists, 70 musicians and 40 stalls.
What began in December 2013, with a session held at Sultan Park to provide a space for artists and enthusiasts to come together and enjoy the arts has now grown into one of the biggest art festivals in the Maldives.
Abuzz with creative energy and inspiration, this year too, there were performances by many talented artists and a variety of art pieces and handiwork on display throughout the festival.
The festival this year had a strong focus on creating a litter free environment and encouraged reducing plastic usage. It included a cleaning event held in collaboration with TwitSaafu and provided water refill stations within the event.
Truly a platform for artists by artists, in addition to creating an amazing atmosphere and bringing together creatives from a multitude of areas, Fannugedharin is also an incredible platform for the growing local community of bakers, craftsmen and small business owners.
