Art Gallery Male’ is back with another solo exhibition, this time by its very first international art resident, Jenny Keith. With 9 signature artworks, ‘Watermark’ is the first solo exhibition by the artist in the Maldives.
Jenny Keith is a contemporary artist based in Edmonton, Canada. Jenny’s body of work features acrylic and mixed media paintings. Her work has been showcased in galleries and private collections across Canada and internationally.
As part of its international art residency program, Art Gallery Male’ welcomed Jenny Keith on 12th November 2022.
With the tints of blues and greens visualizing the azure calm waters surrounding the beaches, to the Common Moorhen, Carpenter Bees and Bats—‘Watermark’ presents a colorful and dreamy outlook of the Maldivian ecosystem through Jenny’s point of view. All 9 art pieces were created during her art residency here at Art Gallery Male’.
‘Watermark’ is open for public viewing from 11th – 23rd December 2022.
