NCA Maldives Launches Revamped Website and “Virtual Art Gallery”

National Centre for the Arts, Maldives (NCA) has officially launched its revamped website with newly added feature: “Virtual Art Gallery”.

At the opening function of “Unveiling Visions 2021”, the Minister of Arts, Culture, and Heritage, Yumna Maumoom inaugurated the “Virtual Gallery” of the National Art Gallery.

nag.mv will feature the National Art Gallery’s Permanent Collection; the tangible representation of the artistic heritage of the country and the most extensive collection of Maldivian art in the country.

The collection comprises works from all the prominent Maldivian artists who have contributed to the development and growth of arts in the country. Some of the featured artworks are by renowned artists such as (Sarudhaaru) Dhon Manik, Amir (Bahaaru Villa), Afzal Shaafiu (Afu) and Aminath Hilmy.
