Maldives contemporary art exhibition; Unveiling Visions is scheduled to be held from 4th-14th December 2021 at the National Art Gallery. Organized by the Maldivian Artist Community (MAC), a non-governmental organization, this year’s exhibition marks the fifth edition of its annual series since its inception in 2017.
Featuring artworks of more than 80 artists across the country, the exhibition showcases original works and provides exposure and opportunities to the artists. The exhibition will see artworks from 7 different categories including Drawing, Painting, Digital Art, Calligraphy, Sculpture, Installation and Mixed Media.
Similar to previous years, “The Most Vibrant Artist of the year 2021” will be selected from each category and awarded during the exhibition.
This year’s Unveiling Visions is sponsored by “MUSE” the art and craft supplies store scheduled to open on 1st December 2021.
